Full-Time Member Care Advocate

Trax Credit Union is currently seeking a dedicated Member Care Advocate to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you'll leverage your expertise to analyze member payment records and their relationship with our Credit Union. Your key goal will be to devise effective strategies for resolving delinquencies.

As an ideal candidate, you're someone with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong drive to motivate members to adhere to payment guidelines. Your actions will align with our Credit Union's Mission, Vision, Values, and Pledge to our shareholders.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Develop a strategic action plan to bring delinquent accounts current over time, ensuring alignment with Credit Union policies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of member interaction, including plans for follow-up and resolution of delinquency.
• Apply skip tracing techniques using available tools and agencies.
• Work on recovery of charged-off accounts.
• Use various tools and approaches to resolve delinquencies, such as extensions, skip payments, account locking, and loan consolidation.
• Perform collection duties in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Act and other internal policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week. The typical schedule is Monday through Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating Fridays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Extended hours and weekends may be required as job duties demand.

Salary: Starting at $20.00 per hour

Mortgage Loan Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Loan Officer to join our team. As a Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their loan applications and guiding them through the mortgage process. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in financial services and a passion for helping clients achieve their homeownership goals.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Should have excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills, should be Proficient in the loan origination system and Microsoft Outlook, have a strong working knowledge of standard loan products offered by FHA, VA, USDA, & FNMA programs.
• Minimum of 2 years' recent successful mortgage sales experience and you MUST be a registered mortgage loan originator in good standing with NMLS.
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to analyze financial data accurately.
• Knowledge of banking procedures and regulations related to lending.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in loan application processing.
• Familiarity with escrow processes and contract terms is a plus.
• Builds and develops referral contacts (member referrals, realtors, builders, professional, branch and personal contacts) to generate sales of residential mortgage loans and build a pipeline.
• Assumes overall responsibility for the residential mortgage loan from application to closing.
• Maintains knowledge of available loan products. Originates permanent single family (1-4), FHA, VA, USDA, JUMBO and conventional mortgage loan products (FNMA/FHA/VA, etc.).

Mortgage Loan Processor

Trax Credit Union currently has an open Float Teller position. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for the mortgage process after the loan is submitted to underwriter. Performs all processing, pre-underwriting, and pre-closing tasks required to proactively manage mortgage loan files from receipt in processing to final disposition.

Desired Skills and Experience

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
• 2 years’ experience of first mortgage loan processing. Obtain and maintain NMLS registration within one month of entering role.
• Preferred Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Experience and proven success in handling pipeline.
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
• Detail oriented with a strong focus on quality.
• Experience processing Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans.
