The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires each of the nationwide credit reporting companies — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion — to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12 months.

This site, provides you with the secure way to request and obtain a free credit report once every 12 months from each of the three nationwide consumer credit reporting companies. This will allow you to stay current on what your credit report shows.

Compare your report to your credit card and loan statements. These reports will help you detect inaccuracies on your report. Because there are three separate agencies, you can spread the free reports over four month periods allowing you to check your credit throughout the year. We encourage you request your credit report.

As a security precaution, you should never provide your personal information to any other company or person in connection with free annual credit reports. will not approach you via email, telemarketing, or direct mail. The free credit report will not disclose your credit score (there is a charge for credit score information).
