Scholarship Application

Eligibility: Applicant must be a primary member in good standing with Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union (RIFCU). Applicants (children and dependents) of Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union employees, directors or committee members are not eligible. The applicant must be a graduating senior in high school, or college student (rising freshman, sophomore, junior or senior) at an accredited non-profit college or university. Applicant must have a minimum 3.00 cumulative grade point average.  Official or unofficial transcript may be required. Applicant must take at least nine (9) credit hours per semester for the current academic year.

Application: 1) Online completion of the Railroad & industrial Federal Credit Union scholarship form. 2) List of volunteer work/job experiences, list of extracurricular activities/ organizations, list of accomplishments, honors, and awards received. 3) An essay response to the question listed, not to exceed 500 words.

Applications accepted through July 31 of the current year.

Notification: All applications become property of RIFCU and will not be returned; information therein may be used in marketing and other public, social or printed materials. All decisions concerning the award will be the responsibility of the Scholarship Committee, and all decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final. Recipient may be required to provide proof of enrollment at the school named on the application. This is a non-recurring award.
